Each Talao bag is made with thoughtfully sourced leather and durable hardware designed to last for years with proper care. Natural materials will soften, develop patina, and gain character over time — this is part of their story.

Everyday Care
• Avoid overfilling to preserve structure and shape
• Keep away from prolonged sun, heat, and humidity
• Protect from rain and moisture
Cleaning
• Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after use
• For light dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and air dry naturally
• Do not use alcohol, wet wipes, or harsh cleaners
Conditioning
• Apply leather conditioner every 3–6 months to maintain suppleness
• Test on a small hidden area first
Storage
• Store in a dust bag with light stuffing to hold shape
• Keep in a cool, dry place
• Avoid plastic bags
Hardware
• Brass may naturally patina over time — this is normal and part of its character
• Polish gently with a dry cloth if desired

To care
• Avoid friction against rough or dark surfaces to protect the hair
• Keep dry and avoid soaking
• Brush lightly in the direction of the hair using a soft brush or cloth
• Do not apply creams or conditioners to cowhair
For the leather body
• Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after use
• For light marks, use a slightly damp cloth and air dry naturally
• Apply a small amount of leather conditioner occasionally to keep the leather smooth and supple
• Avoid alcohol, wet wipes, or harsh cleaners
To store
• Place in the dust bag when not in use
• Lightly stuff to maintain shape
• Avoid folding or compressing the hair panels
