TALAO Terms of Service

Welcome to TALAO (“we,” “us,” “our”). By purchasing products from our website or our physical boutique, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. General Conditions

  • By purchasing from TALAO, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

  • TALAO reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason allowed by law.

2. Handcrafted Products & Limited Quantities

  • Each TALAO piece is handcrafted with care in limited quantities.

  • Minor variations in color, texture, or finish are inherent to our materials and are not considered defects.

  • Product images are for reference only; slight differences may occur.

3. Orders & Payment

  • Orders are considered confirmed only after full payment is successfully processed.

  • In-store purchases are confirmed at the time of checkout, using our Shopify POS.

  • Online orders are confirmed after payment is received via Shopify or other approved payment methods.

  • We reserve the right to cancel orders or refuse service in case of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory issues.

4. Payment Methods

  • In-store payments: Customers may pay via Instapay QR, credit/debit card, or PayPal.

  • Online payments: We accept payments via Shopify-supported gateways (credit/debit, PayPal, Instapay).

  • QR payments must be Instapay only; PESONet is not accepted.

  • Items will not be released until payment is verified.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • All sales are final once confirmed, for both in-person and online orders.

  • TALAO does not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, preferences, or sizing.

  • Exceptional returns or replacements (for items damaged upon arrival or incorrect items received) must be requested within seven (7) days of delivery or in-person pickup by emailing support@talao-studios.com with order details, photos, and a description of the issue.

  • Approved returns or exchanges must be unused and in original condition.

  • TALAO reserves the right to decline any return or exchange request at its sole discretion.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.

6. Risk of Loss & Shipping

  • For in-person pickup, risk of loss passes to the customer upon taking possession of the item.

  • For shipping, risk of loss passes to the customer when the item is handed to the courier.

  • TALAO is not liable for shipping delays, lost items, or damages during transit beyond approved claims.

7. Customer Consent

  • Every customer must complete and submit our Consent Form (available via our website or Google Form link) for in-person or online orders.

  • By submitting the form or completing a purchase, the customer confirms acceptance of these Terms of Service and the Return & Refund Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All TALAO designs, logos, images, text, and branding are protected intellectual property.

  • Customers may not reproduce, distribute, or use any TALAO content without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, TALAO shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your purchase.

  • TALAO’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

10. Force Majeure

  • TALAO shall not be liable for any delay or inability to fulfill orders due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, supply shortages, or governmental actions.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

  • Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. Failing that, disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Philippine courts.

12. Changes to Terms

  • TALAO reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.

  • Continued use of our website or purchase of products constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Acknowledgment

  • By completing your purchase, whether in-person or online, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to TALAO’s Terms of Service and Return & Refund Policy.
