Care

For Your Talao Piece

Every Talao piece is crafted in small batches using thoughtfully selected leathers and enduring hardware, chosen for how beautifully they wear over time.

With use, the materials will soften, deepen in tone, and develop a natural patina unique to you. This evolution is not wear, but character — a reflection of the life lived with your piece.

Thoughtful care will ensure your Talao bag or leather good ages beautifully for years to come.

A Note on Character

Subtle creases, tonal variations, and natural shifts in texture are inherent to genuine leather and cowhide. These are not imperfections, but marks of authenticity — making each Talao piece uniquely yours.

Leather is an enduring and remarkably strong natural fiber, chosen for its longevity and ability to age beautifully over time. However, like all natural materials, it remains sensitive to certain conditions such as prolonged moisture, excessive heat, humidity, friction, and overstrain. Thoughtful care and mindful storage will help preserve the integrity, structure, and beauty of your Talao piece for years to come.
